People are gifted with five senses. These senses are the smell, hear, touch, and sight. If one of it fails to function, surely that a person will really have difficulty in doing the things she or he has to do. This is the reason why we really have to give care of those body parts which gave us these senses so we can grow old maximizing it.

One of these senses that human beings rely so much is the sight. We can definitely say that our eyes are very important for us. Never neglect eating foods which are very rich in Vitamin A. Researches has shown this nutrient really helps protect certain eye cells from any toxic damages. The foods which are rich with this nutrient are watercress, spinach, and carrots. If your body does not have enough Vitamin A, you will surely get night blindness.

But the best thing to do is visiting your ophthalmologist regularly. People who have eye problem history within the family need this more. Your ophthalmologist will give you the correct treatment that you need and get advices on how to avoid worsening your eye problem.
